Woolworths Quiet Hour
Monday to Friday | 10:30am – 11:30am
Woolworths provides a low-sensory shopping experience by implementing temporary changes to create a more relaxed environment. During this hour, customers can expect:
- Bakery ovens and chicken cooker buzzers turned off
- Reduced volume on store phones and registers
- Cleared store entryways
- Dimmed lighting and reduced in-store music
- Roll cages removed from the shop floor
- No PA announcements, except in emergencies
Coles Quiet Hour
Tuesday | 10:30am – 11:30am (Reduced light and sound)
Monday to Friday | 6:00pm – 7:00pm (Reduced sound only)
Coles is committed to creating a welcoming space for all shoppers by making the following adjustments:
- Reduced store lighting (Tuesdays only)
- Coles Radio turned down
- Register and scanner volumes lowered
- No PA announcements, except in emergencies
- Additional team members available to assist customers
Limelight Cinemas Sensory Screenings
Once per month
For movie lovers who prefer a more relaxed cinema experience, Limelight Cinemas hosts sensory-friendly screenings where:
- Lights are dimmed rather than fully turned off
- Volume is turned down
- Chatting is allowed
- All ages are welcome to enjoy the experience in a comfortable setting
