There's so much to love about winter fashion. However, many women can find it challenging to piece an outfit together that's both creative, yet warm - especially for parties and events. This winter party season we have you covered with a go-to guide to the party and event outfits that will work for you this season, whether it be end of financial year celebrations, after work drinks, baby showers or even a wedding! Dinner Party So you're going to a dinner party with your friends or family and are tempted to wear the usual "jeans and a nice top" combination. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this, why not experiment with a knitted dress, or some statement tops? Knitted dresses are great for wearing in winter, because it's like wearing a dressing gown with the warmth, but they look ten times better! Opt for one that has some great detailing in the sleeves, and add a cute necklace on the neckline to add some colour! If you're still tempted to opt for the jeans and top combo, then look for a top that has a some detailing - whether it be in the sleeves, print or texture of the shirt. When taking a work outfit from the boardroom to the bar, its essential to not over-do it. Simply add to what you're already wearing, and you'll be out the door getting that cocktail before you know it! By adding a textured, statement jacket to your corporate look you can transform it immediately. Also, if you're looking for work outfit inspiration, how about wearing one of your favourite summer dresses over a pair of stockings or tights? This means you can still wear some of your most loved wardrobe items, but be warm too! Images sourced from Katies Fashion, and Sussan Fashion Girls Night Out Planning a night out with the girls?
