Bedroom
Nothing welcomes a change in season like a mini bedroom makeover. This autumn the new ‘Romance’ interior design trend is taking over – think oversized floral artwork and bedding, deep rich red and purple tones, and moody luxe vibes. You can go all out to embrace this trend or pick up some smaller elements as these pieces work in well with your existing décor. Kmart large floral print $19

Living areas
One of the easiest ways to refresh a living room is with new cushions, a throw and smaller décor pieces. In your dining room, new placemats or wall art are an opportunity to bring in violet tones. Target Viola printed cushion $15

Bathroom
Another space where you can have some fun with this trending colour is your bathroom. Display some new bath towels, candles or other small décor to update this space for autumn. Kmart Lilac bath towels $12
