How to spend the day at South.Point
September 05, 2019 By Southpoint Tuggeranong
South.Point is more than just a shopping centre: we are your one-stop destination for the best dining, entertainment and shopping experiences, if we do say so ourselves. From 9am–9pm, we’ve got your whole day planned.

Start your day off right with breaky at one of our 11 cafes. Fancy pancakes? Get them with caramelized banana and cinnamon butter at Cherry Beans. Want something healthy? Café Milligram does a delicious and nutritious chicken & grains bowl. After a classic egg and bacon roll? Get a double stacked one at Caffe Luxxe. Or maybe you just want to build your own breakfast? Southern Grounds has got you covered.

It’s normally right about now those caffeine pangs start to hit. Whether you’re a cold brew gal or a boiling hot flat white kinda guy, you’ll find the perfect cuppa to perk you up at one of our specialty coffee shops. Try a brew from Espresso Room, Gloria Jean’s, Brew Bar, Southern Grounds or Coffee Club, or try one from all of them (if you can handle it).
Nothing goes better with a coffee than a side of shopping, right? Pick up your new spring read at Dymocks, grab some fresh home décor at Kmart, stock up on your favourite health foods at Go Vita, and refresh your wardrobe at any of the premium clothing stores for men, women and kids.

Worked up an appetite again? If you’re feeling Italian, get yourself to La Pasteria for a delicious lunch special like risotto con pollo, fried calamari or the chef’s pizza of the day with homemade bread and a house drink on the side.
If Middle Eastern is more your style, Little Istanbul offers lunch banquets for two or more people, with kebab, seafood and vegetarian-based options. And if you’re after something traditional, 5 Senses Café does all your favourite burger, pasta and brunch options.

Got kids who are starting to go a little stir crazy? iPlay will help them work out any extra energy. Whether they like their arcade games, want to throw some hoops or climb a jungle gym, you can be sure they’ll be entertained for hours – giving you time for another coffee, if need be.
If you fancy a mid-arvo snack, you could go healthy at Top Juice or naughty with Phat Panda’s fried chicken and chips (we won’t judge either way).

Time to grab an early dinner after all the excitement of the afternoon. Head East at Lemon Grass Thai restaurant, with tasty options like Pad Thai, green curry and curry puffs, or go for the classics like a schnitty, steak and burger at Rashays.
Round out the day by sitting back and relaxing at Limelight Cinemas, where you can catch the latest flicks while munching on some popcorn and sweet treats from the Candy Bar. Remember to validate your parking ticket when you get your movie ones, for four hours free parking!
