Baking ideas for every Mum
With the house being fuller than ever, we can almost guarantee you are trying to think of snacks for nearly every hour of the day. We have complied 3 of our favourite at home baking snacks that are easy to make and will be loved by everyone.
This recipe is for the ‘just want to use what we have in our cupboard’ Mum
Banana Chia Biscuits

You’ll need:- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs golden syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbs canola oil
- 1/2 cup wholemeal self-raising flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup sultanas
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 3 tbs black chia seeds
For the ‘I need to trick my kids into eating more veggies’ Mum
Sweet Potato and Zucchini Slice

You’ll need:- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 cup sweet potato, grated
- 1 cup zucchini, grated
- 1 cup spring onions, chopped
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
For the ‘vegan sweet tooth’ Mum
Moist Chocolate Cake

You’ll need:- 1 ½ cup + 2 tablespoons (200 grams) all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ⅔ cup + 1 tablespoon (75 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder sifted
- 4 teaspoons (16 grams) baking powder
- 1 ¾ cup + 2 tablespoons (450 ml) soy milk or milk of choice
- 2½ tablespoons (35 grams) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- powdered sugar for dusting
